Gaps in Child Protection in Europe

Over the years, the Union has made progress in child protection, but according to a report from the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA), serious gaps remain. The effectiveness of child protection in France and at the European level

Publication - The various reports, statements, recommendations, assessments, opinions, and notes published in child protection reflect a deep malaise and an alarming situation. The interviews and investigations conducted during the research that this work concludes (October 2022 - June 2024) have confirmed this. A crisis of meaning, first of all, questions the role of actors and institutions as well as the objectives pursued, which are not clear. Does the law still protect the child? Put an end to the collective expulsions of foreign individuals 

The Migration Commission, meeting on March 11, 2025, in Paris, expressed its concern over the growing divergence between international law and the practices of member states regarding collective expulsions of foreign individuals, reminding that such expulsions are "formally prohibited under Article 4 of Protocol No. 4 of the European Convention on Human Rights."(...). -  Click here​​​​​​

A new Hungarian law forces local authorities to violate human rights

The law infringes on the rights of LGBTQIA+ individuals to respect for their private and family life without discrimination, as well as on the freedoms of expression and assembly.
