The effectiveness of child protection in France and at the European level
Publication - The various reports, statements, recommendations, assessments, opinions, and notes published in child protection reflect a deep malaise and an alarming situation. The interviews and investigations conducted during the research that this work concludes (October 2022 - June 2024) have confirmed this. A crisis of meaning, first of all, questions the role of actors and institutions as well as the objectives pursued, which are not clear. Does the law still protect the child?
