“The Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB) has just announced the launch of the 6th edition of the CEB Prize for Social Cohesion. This prize rewards organizations and individuals dedicated to driving social change and addressing crucial issues in their communities, thereby promoting greater social cohesion across Europe.”.

The prize includes a reward of 45,000 euros for the best initiative, as well as an additional sum of 10,000 euros to be distributed equally between two other shortlisted projects..

“I am extremely proud to present the sixth edition of our Award for Social Cohesion. We have already seen how it can make all the difference for the winning projects, allowing them to expand their activities and have a greater impact on the communities they serve,” said the Governor of the CEB, Carlo Monticelli.

Eligibility

The competition is open to organizations and individuals over the age of 18, based in one of the 43 member countries of the CEB..

Individuals, non-governmental organizations, social enterprises, and community groups that have created and implemented projects with a strong social impact are eligible for the Award. Projects that promote the inclusion of vulnerable groups are strongly encouraged to apply..

Applications will be evaluated based on their social impact, sustainability, and innovation by a panel of CEB staff members who are experts in project management, sustainability, monitoring, and evaluation. The most promising pre-selected projects will be reviewed by an independent jury composed of eminent experts..
